Scope of Work
The project encompassed the complete transformation of an existing outdoor feature into a refined water wall fountain and seating area. Works commenced with the full demolition and removal of the existing water fountains and planters to prepare the site for new construction.
The entire area, measuring approximately 4.3 m × 1.7 m, was concreted to form a stable base, followed by the construction of a raised platform floor 15 cm above the finished floor level. A feature water wall fountain was constructed with a length of 3.3 m and a height of 2.5 m, including comprehensive waterproofing works in accordance with the approved design.
Two straight seating elements with integrated backrests were constructed on both sides of the water wall, complemented by adjacent planters designed with open bases to allow natural water percolation into the ground. A semi-circular basin was formed below the central water wall fountain, incorporating an up-jet water feature and set on a raised platform to enhance visual impact.
All fountain surfaces were plastered and treated with multiple coats of waterproofing to ensure durability and long-term performance. The water wall fountain was finished with two varieties of wall tiles on the front and back surfaces, executed with precise detailing. The surrounding floor area was completed with heavy-duty floor tiles, while the interior of the basin was finished with mosaic tiling, laid to proper slopes to ensure effective water flow and a high-quality finish.
